Yoga for Worries
This 6-week program was developed for children in 1st-5th grade. It is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Yoga Teacher.
Participants will use yoga, mindfulness, guided relaxation and creative activities along with special characters from the Worry Woo curriculum (worrywoos.com) to learn about anxiety and worries.
Participants will leave with increased emotional vocabulary, ability to recognize stress and anxiety in their bodies and tools to manage these emotions. There will be resources provided to caretakers to help encourage the use of skills in the home and at school.

Chill Yoga Workshop for Tween and Teen Girls
Yoga can provide relief for stress, depression and anxiety. It can also help you improve your focus, concentration and self-esteem. Learn new skills to support you at home and school.
Each 1.5 hour session will focus on a specific theme and will include materials, resources and recorded guided meditation practices. Themes will cover managing stress and anxiety, depression, improving sleep, self-compassion and confidence. We will explore these themes through movement, meditation, breath and art in a non-competitive environment.
Classes will be taught by a Registered Yoga Teacher and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Beginners are welcome! No previous yoga experience is necessary.

6 week iRest meditation series
Join us for a 6-week series of iRest (integrative restoration) meditation. People who practice iRest report reduced depression, anxiety, insomnia, levels of stress and chronic/acute pain. Additionally, they report a greater ability to relax and enjoy life, improved interpersonal relations and increased inner peace.
Class will include gentle movement, practice and reflection. Meditation can be completed in a seated or lying position. Those new to iRest or meditation are welcome!
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal and a yoga mat (mats are available at the studio for a rental fee).
